After graduating from my Bachelor and LLM degree, I decided that it was the time to go back to my first love : Chocolate and Pastry.

Why Pastry ? Like every daughter, I used to follow my mum in the kitchen to see her cooking every sort of dishes. But mostly, I loved when she was cooking my favourite Moroccan pastries. The kitchen used to looks like Disneyland. All those smells : cinnamon, lemon, honey, sesame seed, almonds, nuts, fruits, orange blossom, mint. So Moooood !!

Also, my dad used to take me with him every Saturday to the market. He teaches me how to recognize the best fruits and vegetables, how to interact with people and most importantly how to manage my money 😊

Ok, for the pastry. Why chocolate ?

I fall in love with chocolate when I was in Tenerife in the Canary Island. I was doing my Erasmus in a chocolate boutique named Charlotte Bomboneria based in Santa Cruz. All those sorts of chocolate and country’s specialities encourage me to go further in the process. So, when I went back to France, I went myself to the Salon du Chocolat and during the Chocolate Master Competition, I fall in love with the job of Chocolate Master. It was surreal and magical. Few months later, I started my training as a Chocolate and Pastry maker. Mood Your Body was on the process
..

Oh yeah, I see you coming
Nassera, aren’t you intolerant to lactose, gluten and sugar ? How did you manage your training ?

Well, I did manage actually. I didn’t change recipes or make a revolution. However, I learned to work with those ingredients. Yes, it was very difficult, however I did find support in my team and it helps me to adapt later some of my favourite sweets.

Three years later, I start an entrepreneurship program with HEC Business School based in Paris called “Stand’Up” and few months later I integrated the HEC Incubator as a post-program. During those 2 years, I developed my idea and start competing. In 2017, my team and I won 6 prizes during the Orange Hackathon and few weeks later, we won the Entrepreneurship Competition in partnership with Coca-Cola.
